Well, today was a waste... Didn't get much done, none of the people I tried to call were in. Sold some books, picked up one by Wilhelmina Baird that I didn't have yet... Went to eat at Union Jack's - love dem tenderloins, and the draft Guinness doesn't hurt. Hung around at Ankh's for a bit, then came back here to veg... Bleh.
Need to get set tomorrow for Fri's interview, make sure my interview outfit is clean, etc... Not much else to do tho.
I was on some kind of trip with a lot of other people - sort of like a field trip in college. We were in a boxcar, I think... All stuffed in there with our stuff - and we had a LOT of stuff. We're cruising along down the tracks, then somehow our stuff starts escaping - like we hit something? Anyway.
We all get out to pick up our stuff, and put it in our own personal heaps until we can repack it in the boxcar. Then this car runs over my stuff, which was at the edge of the track. I get pissed, and notice that he has headphones as he passes us. I look down, find the cord to his headphones, and hold onto it as he keep driving away. The headphones come off, and I gather them up and throw them up into a tree on the other side of the tracks. The guy stops, yelling, and gets out of the car to go find his headphones.
The rest of us pack our stuff back into the boxcar and head off down the tracks. I look out, and the guy is still hunting for his headphones.
That's about when I woke up.
I really need to get more regular exercise... Just finished a round of DDRing.. and the post-DDR shower. I've been awake for what, 3 hours? and have had 2 showers already... Anyway, I'm sad to report that I'm not doing as well as I was at DDR. I can't get through 3rd remix normal butterfly /: or many other 4 foot songs. And just a week or four ago, I could do the 5 footers.
That settles it, either I do some aerobic and strength exercise every day... or you can kick my ass.
Eesh, I just couldn't stay awake earlier. Don't know what it was. So I napped, with "Great Chefs of the World" playing in the background.
Not that I cook, really... Well, ok, I confess I do cook on occasion, but very rarely. And since my taste runs into the extremely spicy, with meat, veggies, and whatever else I throw in, I don't cook very often for other people - they can't stand it.
Hotmail used to be somewhat reliable. Now it's being bitchy, and usually is on a monthly basis. Blah. How am I supposed to check LJ comments without my hotmail notices?!?
