Stupid thing closes at 4:30, so I only had an hour... Managed to hit the things I really wanted to see - the Seurat that Strawberry loves so much, some other Impressionist pieces, the Asian gallery, and the Medieval armaments. Then I bought a postcard of the Seurat which I may send to Strawberry.
Went back to the hotel and slept. Woke up and ate leftovers from lunch. Then I called Taz and chatted for a bit... Confirmed Karaoke for Sat night, and made tentative dinner plans for V-Day.
Called Tigger next, but they were sleeping, so I let them go. Ended up just vegging to the TV - watched hockey and several random shows... Ordered room service... finally crashed around midnight.
This morning was a small struggle, but not nearly as bad as yesterday. Temp was -1oC, but the wind seems to have kicked up a bit. Currently, the rest of the class is trying to catch up to me. I'm waiting until they hit the next chapter before again getting all the hand-on stuff done for the day. I simply can't work at the slow pace they're on. I need to go my own speed, or I lose the train of thought and can't continue.
I need to work a bit on one of my sites anyways, so it's not like I won't have anything to do.
I'm also thinking of making a hidden page on one server or another so if I'm out of town, I can get to all my usual bookmarks. I used to have that, but it hasn't been updated in years.
Don't know what I feel like doing today... I could try to get to a show or somesuch, or perhaps get to a DDR machine... *shrug* I don't think spending another night in the hotel room sounds like a favorable idea.
